Bowmanstown Borough Council took the following action this week:

• Approved a 1% salary increase for borough secretary Tracy Csrenko.

• Agreed to hire Ed Shubeck as part-time seasonal employee at the rate of $13.50 an hour to start June 10.

• Agreed to advertise the Mill Street project pending utility clearance.

• Approved a flood insurance renewal at a cost of $4,750.
