Senior Center

The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for June 10-14.

Monday: Cheeseburger, Potato Wedges, Carrots, Orange or Beef Club Sandwich

Tuesday: Chicken, Red Potatoes, Vegetable Blend, Pudding or Ham and Cheese Sandwich

Wednesday: Pork and Sauerkraut, Mashed Potatoes, Apple Slices or Chicken Caesar Salad

Thursday: Sweet ‘n Sour Meatballs, Fried Rice, Asian Vegetables, Mandarin Oranges or Pastrami and Cheese Sandwich

Friday: BBQ Pork Sandwich, Chuckwagon Corn, Cole Slaw, Peaches or Salad with Chicken

The senior center also announced the following events.

Scattergories on June 10 at 11 a.m.; Birthday Bingo on June 11 at 10:45 a.m.; Drumming Exercise on June 12 at 11 a.m.; Sunshine Meeting on June 13 at 10 a.m. followed by Skeeball at 11 a.m., Po-Keeno on June 14 at 11 a.m.

Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Music in the Park

Lansford Alive’s Music in the Park will feature Fred Douglas performing soul and rhythm and blues at the gazebo in Kennedy Park Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The music series will continue every Sunday throughout the summer featuring different performers. Community Bank is the principal sponsor the park series.
