Brutto to be inducted into D-11 Hall of Fame

Former Marian head coach Paul Brutto is set to be inducted into the District 11 Hall of Fame later this year.

Brutto was the long-time girls’ basketball coach at Marian. During his career, he amassed an amazing 750 wins.

He led the Fillies for 30 years and prior to that was the girls basketball coach at Shenandoah Valley.

His remarkable success at Marian included 606 victories, and the 2008 PIAA Championship. He also coached three district championships in 2005, 2008 and 2014. His teams compiled at least 20 wins in 16 different seasons.

Brutto will be honored alongside Linda Cruttenden, Kayla Cunningham, Chuck DiBilio, Keith Dorney, Tim Massaquoi, Ross Moore, Steve Powell, Dennis Ramella, Mike Schneider, Rich Sniscak, Shannon Williams, Meggan Yedsena and Jason Yeisley.

The Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 4 p.m. at the The Delta Hotel in Breinigsville. Dinner will precede the induction ceremony.
