Local Roundup: Results from June 3
Northern Valley’s Lehigh Valley Legion and Lehigh Valley Senior Connie Mack League teams both posted wins on Monday.
Franklin Township also earned a victory in LV Connie Mack play.
LEHIGH VALLEY LEGION
Northern Valley-Southern Lehigh
Northern Valley rallied for four runs in the seventh inning to pull out a 5-4 victory over Southern Lehigh.
After the Chargers pulled within two runs, Wesley George was) hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to make it 4-3. Jared Felch followed with a two-run single to give Northern Valley the lead.
Southern Lehigh threatened in the home seventh, loading the bases with two outs, but George got a come-backer to end the game.
Robert Cronenberger finished with three hits and two runs for the winners, while Josh Farber added a hit and a run.
The Chargers evened their record at 1-1.

North Parkland-Northern Valley
Cannon Fitch pitched a gem to lead Northern Valley to a 3-0 victory over North Parkland.
Fitch finished with a three-hit shutout, walking one while striking out 13.
The Chargers’ pitcher was locked in a scoreless pitching duel with Sean Fallon until Northern Valley pushed across three runs in the sixth after North Parkland pulled its starter.
Fitch, Parker Schaffer and Griffin Unrath all had a hit and an RBI for the winners, while Cole Dynda and Watson Church both added a hit and a run.

Franklin Twp.-East Stroudsburg
Cole Dietz pitched a six-hitter to lead Franklin Township to a 10-1 victory over East Stroudsburg.
Dietz, who was given a four-run lead before he even took the mound, allowed just one run and no walks while striking out six.
The winning hurler also had a solid day at the plate, collecting two hits while driving in a pair of runs.
Konner Nalesnik collected two hits, two runs and knocked in a run, with Michael Santana adding a hit, a run and two RBIs. Zoltan Bedocs chipped in with a hit and a run.
The win lifted Franklin to 3-0.

Stroudsburg used a five-run fourth inning to pull out a 6-3 victory over Palmerton.
Alex Feliciano had two hits, a run and an RBI to pace the winners.
For Palmerton, which led 2-1 after three innings, Jared Grammes finished with a pair of hits and an RBI. Luke Matsko chipped in with a hit and an RBI, while Corey Serfass added a hit and a run.
Alex Keiper also scored a pair of runs.
