Several people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash in Towamensing Township.

The incident occurred at 1:15 p.m. along Route 209 near the intersection with Homestead Lane. The victims were treated at the scene by members of the Palmerton ambulance and Lehighton paramedics.

Responding were the Towamensing and Franklin Township fire companies.

State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
