Pocono Garden Club will present a Flower Arranging, Horticulture Preparation on June 11.
The presentation will be explored when the club meets at 1 p.m. at the Monroe County Conservation District, 8050 Running Valley Road, Bartonsville.
The program will be presented by club flower show committee members in preparation for the club’s annual Flower Show and Plant Sale. Themed “The Beauty of America,” the show and sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 13 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 158 Fish Hill Road, Tannersville.
The June meeting’s design entry is called “Summer Solstice.” it should be a crescent design, using daisy-type flowers or sunflowers. The horticulture entry should be a bouquet of perennials or annuals in a clear glass container. The houseplant entry should be a cactus.
Light refreshments will be served.
