Palmerton picked up another win in Lehigh Valley Senior Connie Mack action Friday.

Palmerton pulled away from Northwest to remain unbeaten with a 13-3 win in five innings over Northwest in Lehigh Valley Senior Connie Mack action.
Trailing 3-2 headed to the top of the third inning, the Bombers (3-0) surged ahead with four runs, highlighted by a two-run single from Greyson Ahner and an RBI hit from Ben Rider.
The momentum carried into the top of the fourth inning, when Gaige McGowan (two-run double), Ahner (RBI single) and Luke Matsko (RBI single) all drove in runs to push the lead to 12-3.
Palmerton plated two runs in the first, with McGowan collecting an RBI single and Jacob Grammes delivering a sacrifice fly.
Rider was 3-for-3 with two RBIs while McGowan (2-for-3) and Ahner (2-for-3) each had three RBIs and Matsko finished with two hits, while Colton Becker stole two bases.
Corey Serfass earned the win, striking out three in three innings of work. Mason Becker tossed two scoreless innings in relief, striking out.
Northwest took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the second inning, as KJ Rosario and Cooper Foisy both doubled. Colden Wainwright was 2-for-3 in the loss.
