Monroe County crashes

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following crashes:

• Police responded to a crash at 10:41 a.m. May 21 on Interstate 80 in Hamilton Township. They did not provide information on the drivers of the vehicles.

The incident involved a 2017 Nissan Rogue and a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. The driver of the Rogue was cited for the crash.

• Two people were hurt in a crash at 7:59 a.m. May 14 at the intersection of Seven Bridge Road and Cabana Lane in Smithfield Township. Police identified them as Jacob A. Pride, 23, of East Stroudsburg, and Wesley J. Philip, 24, of Saylorsburg. They said neither one of them required a medical transport.

The crash took place when Pride, driving a 2012 Subaru Legacy, attempted to turn into the southbound lane of Seven Bridge Road from Cabana Lane and struck a 2017 Nissan Altima operated by Philip. Philip was cited for the crash police said.

• No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 11:40 a.m. May 20 at the intersection of Route 209 and Foundry Street in Hamilton Township. Police said it involved a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox operated by Jayda L. Duquette, 19, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado driven by Frederick A. Hornsberger, 77, of Sciota. Police did not provide the details of the mishap except to say Duquette was cited for the crash.
