The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has reopened the beach to swimming at Beltzville State Park, Carbon County effective Thursday. Acceptable test results were received and the beach was approved to be reopened by the PA. Dept. of Health.

Tuscarora State Park was also closed on Wednesday and remains closed to swimming. Other park activities are available.
