Jim Thorpe Councilman Ronald J. Sheehan on Thursday was hired as an accountant/fiscal deputy in the office of Carbon County Controller Robert M. Crampsie during a meeting of the county’s board of commissioners.
Sheehan was hired as part of the restructuring of job duties as the controller’s office will become more involved in budgetary procedures of the county.
He comes to the county with a wealth of financial experience, having been an employee of the Jim Thorpe National Bank for the past nine years, during which time he served as vault teller and coordinator of the Fedline ad MAC programs, as well as being an assistant IRA supervisor.
