Dive teams from throughout Schuylkill County are on scene searching for a missing kayaker. The incident began just shortly after 2 p.m. when the missing man’s friend reported the two were in the A-Hole, a large stripping pit along Route 54 just east of Girardville when he found his friend’s kayak overturned and no sign of the man. Reportedly the victim was not wearing a floatation device.
