A triple jubilee will be held on Sunday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Summit Hill, where parishioners will pay tribute to their pastor and note the 60th anniversary of the parish’s existence.
The Rev. Michael J. Lisowski will be the guest of honor as the jubilee will also celebrate his 50th anniversary as a priest and his 40-year tenure as pastor of the church.
Rev. Lisowski will retire a week from now, May 31, when the Rev. Richard J. Nachajski, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill, will assume his duties at St. Stan’s.
Father Lisowski was ordained on May 26, 1934, in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia. He was named pastor of St. Stan’s on Jan. 5, 1944.
