West Penn Township supervisors took the following action Tuesday morning:
• Announced that about 20 street signs have been stolen within the last two weeks; 10 from Zion Stone Church Road, and 10 others throughout the township. The board plans to offer a $500 reward for any information that would lead to getting the township its signs back. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police department at 570-386-1100.
• Approved township floodplain administrator Jeremy Frable to attend floodplain management training June 3-4 at no cost to the township.
• Approved a request from Tamaqua Borough for West Penn Township fire police assistance for Tamaqua’s Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. Monday, May 27.
