The Integrity Scholarship was awarded recently to Julianna Salvo, a senior in the graphics communication program at Monroe County Technical Institute and Pleasant Valley High School.
Salvo, of Kunkletown, plans to continue her education with a major in graphic design at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, in the fall. She is a member of the National Technical Honor Society and SkillsUSA.
Donna Yozwiak, the scholarship chairwoman, presented the $500 scholarship. The Integrity Scholarship is given annually by the Yozwiak family to the outstanding PVHS and MCTI senior who demonstrates integrity in school and community activities on a regular basis. This is the third year the scholarship has been offered.
