Northern Lehigh School Board has approved a collective bargaining agreement between the school district and the Northern Lehigh Educational Support Personnel Association.

The Educational Support Staff agreement that was passed on a 6-0 vote last week is effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2028.

It calls for an average increase of 4.9% for all groups over the four-year agreement, said Sherri Molitoris, district business manager.

Molitoris added that the district increased the starting salaries for custodial, maintenance and cafeteria employees each year of the contract at an average of 3%.

Directors Gary Fedorcha, Natalie Snyder and Chad Christman were absent.
