Jacob P. Salazar, 29, of Blakeslee, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 12:41 a.m. May 9 on Route 33 in Bushkill Township.

State police at Bethlehem said he was transported to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus, Stroudsburg, by personnel from the Cetronia Ambulance Corps.

Police said he was driving a 2018 BMW northbound when two deer entered his path and he was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision.

The car had disabling damages, police said.
