Lehigh Twp. weighs recreation fee waiver

Lehigh Township supervisors heard a request concerning a recreation fee during their meeting on Tuesday.

John and Dennis Moyer made a request to waive the recreation fee. They said that according to a township ordinance, they do not have to pay the recreation fee because they are consolidating, not dividing. The lot consolidation plan was approved, and the recreation fee was tabled until the next meeting.

In other business, the Turkey Hill Land Development Plan has a May 31 deadline for recording. There was no one from Turkey Hill in attendance.

Township engineer Mike Muffley said he did an assessment on 3963 Recker Drive, on a cul-de-sac, to check the runoff of water that collects in the driveway. He told supervisors that it is the homeowner’s responsibility to change it.
