Thorpe, Wreckers get wins
Jim Thorpe baseball and Weatherly softball both earned wins in action on Tuesday.
The Olympians blanked Brandywine Heights, while the Wreckers outscored Lincoln Leadership.

Nikolas Schwartz pitched a one-hit shutout to help Jim Thorpe end its season on a positive note.
Schwartz walked one and struck out four as the Olympians posted a 7-0 victory.
The winning hurler also helped his own cause with two hits and two RBIs.
Matt Domski added a pair of hits — one a double — and scored two runs, while Logan O’Conner belted a home run. Thorpe also received a hit and two runs from Brody Schrantz.
The Olympians ended their season at 6-14.

SOFTBALL
Lincoln Leadership- Weatherly
Weatherly banged out 15 hits, including three by Abigail Weston, to gain a 13-9 non-league victory over Lincoln Leadership.
The Wreckers trailed by six runs heading into the home second, but scored 10 unanswered runs — including six in the fourth inning — to improve to 7-12.
Weston also scored twice and had an RBI, while Juliette Bartel added a pair of hits and three RBIs.
Ava Sahaida chipped in with a pair of hits and two runs, while both Evelynn Ford and Kiley Holman finished with two hits and an RBI.
