A trip to see Daniel at Sight and Sound Theater, Lancaster, is set for June 18. The bus, leaves from St. Peter’s UMC, Saylorsburg.

The theater performance is at 11 a.m. and lunch at 2:30 p.m. at Miller’s smorgasbord, and all gratuities.
Waterfall adventure
Monroe County Conservation District’s Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center has announced a waterfall adventure trip to the Finger Lakes.
The enter will travel via bus to the Finger Lakes region of New York from Aug. 27-29. Participants will be tent camping for two nights and spending the days exploring and swimming near waterfalls, kayaking on a lake, and hiking the Watkins Glen Gorge Trail.
The kayaking and hiking portions of this trip will be moderate in difficulty and are not intended for beginners. The minimum age for this trip is 18.

Party donations
The Senior Center at Zion Lutheran Church in Brodheadsville is looking for donations of paper plates, coffee cups, napkins and plastic utensils. The Center is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday and Friday.

Shawl Ministry
On Tuesday the Prayer Shawl Ministry of Effort UMC will meet at 10:30 a.m.
Zion Lutheran’s shawl group meets at 1 p.m., the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
Middlecreek VBS
Middlecreek Christian Church is holding Vacation Bible School for children ages 4 to 12, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., June 10-14.

Car show coming
On June 16, St. Matthew’s UCC, Kunkletown, will hold its annual car show, rain or shine. Car registration begins at 8 a.m. Breakfast sandwiches will also be sold from 8-10 a.m.
The worship service begins at 10 a.m.
From 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m., a variety of foods will be available for purchase. Entertainment includes The Brian Dean Moore Band from noon to 2 p.m. and the Cramer Brothers Band from 3 to 5 p.m.
Trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m. Top 25 trophies by participants choice will be awarded as well as 100 dash plaques. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and activities for children and music by DJ Eazy E!.
