Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

• Vacation Bible School: June 17-21. Event begins at 5 p.m. each night with a meal. VBS takes place from 6-8:30 p.m. A VBS program takes place at 10 a.m. on June 23 followed by the church picnic at 11 a.m.

• Vacation Sunday school: Children ages 4 through sixth grade are invited to participate in crafts, Bible studies and more in June, July and August. The classes are held at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays.

• Concert bus trip: Mercy Me, Crowder, Cochren and Co., Oct. 17. Pickup at Faith Alive Church at 4 p.m. Payment due by May 24 to ensure seats. Sign up in the lobby or call Connie Williams at 610-577-6441 for more information.

• Dads and Grads will be celebrated during both worship services on June 16. Save the date.

Jerusalem Evangelical

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church (Trachsville) Persian Donut order pickup will be at the church on May 23 from 9-11 a.m.

Sacred Heart Church

Sacred Heart Church will celebrate Mother’s Day with a cash bingo fundraiser on May 12.

The event will take place at Sacred Heart Church Social Hall, 243 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. Doors and the kitchen open at noon. Bingo begins at 1 p.m.

Free Community Meal

St. John’s UCC, 891 Columbia Ave., Palmerton, will hold a free community meal from 4:30-6 p.m. on May 14. The menu consists of linguine ham in Alfredo sauce and a tossed salad. No takeouts before 5:30 p.m.
