Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

Looking ahead

• New adult Bible class series to begin May 5. The series is titled “How Happiness Happens” by Max Lucado.

• New Sunday school series begins on May 5. It is a four-week DVD series. Contemporary adult classes with Sam Heiney are also in Room 113.

Jerusalem Evangelical

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church (Trachsville) is holding a Persian Donut Sale. Call the church office at 610-681-5200 to order. Orders are due by May 5 and pickup is at the church on May 23 from 9-11 a.m.

Sacred Heart Church

Sacred Heart Church will celebrate Mother’s Day with a cash bingo fundraiser on May 12.

The event will take place at Sacred Heart Church Social Hall, 243 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. Doors and the kitchen open at noon. Bingo begins at 1 p.m.
