Kyle Sebelin, a sophomore student at Penn State University, was recently recognized at the undergraduate student awards program at University Park.
Sebelin earned the President Edwin Erle Sparks Award and Medal. This award is presented annually to those undergraduate degree candidates who have earned a 4.0 (A) cumulative grade-point average based on at least 36 Penn State credits by the end of the fall semester of the current academic year.
The university has been presenting the President Sparks Medal since 1919.
Majoring in history with a sociology minor, he plans on attending law school after completing his undergraduate degree. He is a 2022 graduate of Palmerton Area High School.
