The Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad will be milling and resurfacing the Elm Street railroad crossing in Tamaqua beginning at 8 a.m. Monday.

Elm Street between North Railroad Street (Route 309) and Washington Street will be closed to traffic during the construction. Drivers traveling in the vicinity of the crossing should expect delays and allow for additional travel time. Normal traffic patterns will be restored as soon as possible after the work is completed.
