April 20, 2012 - Panther Valley gets off to a fast start en route to a 13-6 Schuylkill League baseball victory over Jim Thorpe. Nick McArdle, Nate Hrebik and Jake Szczecina all deliver RBI hits in the first inning as the Panthers put up six runs in the opening frame. McArdle comes through again in the third, collecting a two-run single, as PV - coached by John Cooper - expands its lead to 10-0. McArdle ends with four hits and scores three runs, while Thad Ogozalek and Zack King both contribute two hits and a pair of runs. Mark Williams and Hrebik each add two RBIs.
