April 13, 2007 - Times News Basketball Players of the Year Erika Barron of Tamaqua and Chris Decker of Marian help the North squads sweep the South at the annual Schuylkill League Senior Charity Bowl games at Penn State Schuylkill Campus. Barron scores 10 points, including two three-pointers, during a 58-42 victory. The Fillies’ Cindy Hassler and Jess Patton also participate in the contest. Decker hits for 10 points, as does Marian teammate Adam Agosti, during the boys’ 104-75 win. Other area players in the game include the Colts’ John DeAngelo and Matt Stephens, and Tamaqua’s Mark Mazur and Jared Edmonds.
