The southbound lanes of Route 309 are closed this afternoon at the Lehigh-Schuylkill county border atop Blue Mountain because of a crash that happened around 1 p.m. The operator of a delivery truck traveling south apparently lost control, entering the right berm and going up a set of guiderails. The driver was being evaluated by members of the Penn Mahoning Ambulance. West Penn firefighters assisted and maintained traffic control. West Penn Township Police are investigating.
