The Weatherly Area High School’s Kindness Club, with Bobi Ann Kufro as adviser, did a fundraiser in February throughout the district for the homeless and needy veterans assisted by the VA Hospital in Wilkes-Barre. The club raised $1,415 in cash and gift cards that will help support social services the VA hospital offers to veterans.
