Carbon County Coroner Mark Smith said another person has died in the Tent City homeless camp in Lehighton.

David McFarland, 55, was pronounced dead at 4:09 p.m. Wednesday.

Toxicology testing confirmed the cause of death to be mixed drug toxicity, (fentanyl, methamphetamine, xylazine and ecstasy). The manner of death is accidental.

Smith said McFarland’s last known address was Lehighton.

A 46-year-old man died at the camp in January.
