SangriaFest returns on Saturday, June 15 at Grange Park in Upper Macungie from 4 to 7 p.m. with premium access from 3 to 4 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, June 16, from 1-5 p.m.

This event is in partnership with Upper Macungie Township

The event will be an afternoon full of food, music, fun and of course - sangria.

Tickets are on sale now at ArtsQuest.org. Additionally, tickets are limited with no guarantee that they will be available at the door.

Vineyards that will be present include Clover Hill, Franklin Hill, Stony Run Winery and Vynecrest wineries.

“We are thrilled to continue the success of SangriaFest for another year here at Grange Park in Upper Macungie” said Emily Crosby-Piszczek, Recreation Supervisor. “This event continues to expand, and we are so excited to see what this year’s festival has in store. We love when our community comes together for a day filled with fun!”

“Last year’s SangriaFest was a great success, and we are hoping this year’s will be even more amazing,” said Curt Mosel, ArtsQuest Chief Operating Officer. “We are grateful for our partnership with Upper Macungie Township and their commitment to bringing arts-based programming to this community through a variety of festivals and events.”

Cars & Coffee

Cars & Coffee will be making its return for the ninth annual car show series on the SteelStacks campus this spring and summer.

Cars & Coffee, a free car show encourages people throughout the Lehigh Valley to come out for a morning filled with fun, coffee and of course cars.

Opening day is scheduled for Sunday, April 21 from 9 a.m. to noon. Cars & Coffee runs from April through September on the following Sundays: April 21, May 19, June 16, July 14, Aug. 25 and Sept. 22. Each month also offers a different car theme, from Imports to American Muscle to European.

“We are looking forward to warmer days and the return of Cars & Coffee once again here at ArtsQuest,” said Dan Kendra, event co-creator. “Hosting events like these is a great way to bring the car community from throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond together for car camaraderie.”

The Mack Truck Stop at the Levitt Pavilion will be serving beverages and breakfast sandwiches available for purchase throughout the event.

“The Bethlehem Police Department is looking forward to car enthusiasts once again congregating at SteelStacks for the annual Cars & Coffee events throughout the summer,” commented Chief Kott. “With a very successful event last year, we once again encourage all drivers to follow traffic laws and make sure their cars are street legal for their own safety and those visiting the event, vendors and fellow police officers.”

Over the years, Cars & Coffee has grown to become what it is best known for today - a place for people to bring their cars from throughout the Lehigh Valley, meet mutual car enthusiasts and even introduce others to a love for cars of all makes and models.

2024 People’s Ball

Join ArtsQuest as they kick off the spring exhibition with the Second Annual People’s Ball on Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m. in the Crayola Gallery, located on the first floor of the Banana Factory.

This event is a party that celebrates art, style and the community, while inviting guests to strut their stuff for this fun and festive event.

The exhibition for this year’s People’s Ball is Refash, curated by Bethlehem-based fashion designer, Barbara Kavchok. The exhibition will feature wearable works of art that celebrate sustainability and showcase fashion, accessories and jewelry created from used, thrown-out, found and repurposed elements.

“The core philosophy behind Refash 2.0 is to counteract the negative impact of fast fashion by promoting creativity, sustainability and ethical considerations,” commented Barbara Kavchok. “Independent designers are not only challenged to create innovative fashion pieces but are also tasked with incorporating at least 50% discarded materials into their designs. This not only encourages resourcefulness but also serves as a powerful statement against the wasteful practices of the past.”

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the runway show begins at 8:45 p.m. This is an 18+ event.

Cathy’s Catering will provide appetizers and the bar will be open to provide beer, wine and soda.
