Charles Whitehead, left, and Todd Truskey, right, co-captains, presented a $500 check from The Jim Thorpers Bicycle Team to Jim Thorpe Police Chief Joseph Schatz for equipment to upfit the new police e-bikes. Many team members regularly ride the trail through the borough and this will allow the department to assist cyclists in the case of emergencies and to patrol the trail.
