Carl Jacob “CJ” Kern, of Palmerton, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester at Penn State University. He is a sophomore majoring in enterprise technology integration with a focus in Cyber Security. Kern is a 2022 graduate of Palmerton Area High School and the son of Carl P. and Lisa Snell Kern.
