February 20, 2015 - A 6-0 Tamaqua run to end the second quarter, highlighted by a steal and slam dunk by Brett Kosciolek, gives the Blue Raiders the lead for good in an eventual 39-33 District 11 Class 4A quarterfinal victory over North Schuylkill at Martz Hall. The advantage remains close the rest of the way, but the winners hit enough free throws down the stretch to seal the decision. Russell Blaker scores a game-high 13 points for Tamaqua, coached by Caszy Kosciolek, while Brett Kosciolek ends with nine. Nate McDonald also chips in with eight.
