Tamaqua Football Boosters sponsoring golf tournament

The Tamaqua Football Boosters are preparing for the 16th Annual Tamaqua Blue Raider Football Open. It will be held on Sunday, May 5 at the Mountain Valley Golf Course.

Registration begins at 7 a.m with golf getting underway with a Shotgun Start at 8 a.m. It will be a four-man scramble with a cost of $95 per person. The cost includes a buffet; hot dogs, beer, soda and water throughout the course; and prizes for the top three teams.

The registration deadline is April 12. Anyone interested in playing should mail their entry fee to: Brandey Coleman, 113 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, Pa.18252. Checks should be made payable to the Tamaqua Football Boosters.
