Maritza Reinbold, CCTI Graphic Design instructor, and seniors Samara Elliot, from Palmerton, and Julia Romankow, from Panther Valley, addressed the CCTI Joint Operating Committee to showcase the students’ portfolios, their senior class project.
“In class, students leave with a hard copy, online, and social media portfolio,” Reinbold said. “They work on the portfolios throughout their junior and senior year in the graphic design class. All the class projects are designed to showcase the best work in their portfolios, which is the most essential part of their interview for employment in the field.”
“It is a huge opportunity to be here tonight,” Elliot said as she showed some of the work in her portfolio. “I have been a student here for two years now. I currently have certifications in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.”
Elliot plans to go the Lehigh Carbon Community College and then the U.S. Navy.
“I am also certified in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop,” Romankow said. “I plan on attending Penn State for graphic design.”
