State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported the following:
• Brooke Gettig, 41, of Tamaqua, is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after an incident at 6:19 a.m. Feb. 4 at the intersection of Terry Reiley Way and East Laurel Boulevard in Pottsville.
Police said a trooper was on roving patrol when he was waved down by a pedestrian to check on the welfare of a woman sleeping in a 2018 Mitsubishi. Gettig was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
• Damages were minor in a crash at 4:01 p.m. Feb. 2 on Route 61 in North Manheim Township. No one was injured.
Police said a 2016 International Harvester operated by Heather A. Moss, 54, of New Ringgold, sideswiped a 2002 Subaru Outback driven by Dean E. Singley, 57, of Auburn, as both vehicles were northbound and turning left onto Manheim Road.
• Debra Zombro, 54, of Orwigsburg, is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controller substance after a traffic stop police conducted at 12:18 a.m. Jan. 24 at the intersection of Route 61 and Sammy’s Mobile Home Park, North Manheim Township.
She was stopped for a traffic violation while driving a 2005 Subaru Legacy.
• The driver of a vehicle that sideswiped another vehicle at 10:31 a.m. Jan. 30 on Route 61 in West Brunswick Township was issued a written warning by police.
Police did not identify the drivers but said a 2020 Toyota Sienna traveling in the right lane of travel swerved into the left lane and struck a 2016 Ford F550. Both vehicles were traveling south at the time.
Police said both vehicles were determined to be operable but the Sienna was towed from the scene due to its location.
