February 15, 2002 - The Pleasant Valley girls basketball team repeats as Mountain Valley Conference champions after gaining a 37-32 victory over Easton in the title game at Parkland High School. The Bears, coached by Dave Stefani, trail by two points with 3:27 left to play but Andrea Yetter hits a pair of free throws to give PV the lead. Brittany Hanley follows with a basket before Christine Rebori ices the game with a 5-of-6 effort at the foul line. Rebori finishes with a game-high 17 points.
