The ALA Unit 360 presented students in Dr. Katie Leach’s seventh grade civics class with a “Good Deed Award.” The class collected and donated plastic grocery bags to the Weatherly Pound. The students learned that the volunteers at the Pound use the bags in cleaning the cages and used it as a class project.
