Lansford police log
Lansford police reported the following incidents and arrests:
• Officers responded to the 700 block of East Patterson Street Thursday at 5:05 a.m. for a motor vehicle crash where the driver fled. A short time later, the driver was located and charges are pending.
• Officers responded to 4 Spring Garden St. Thursday at 1:34 a.m. for a domestic assault. Judith Fritz was charged with simple assault and harassment and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
• Officers arrested Seth Krynock Thursday on several outstanding drug warrants following an investigation into squatters and drugs at a condemned house at 332 W. Patterson St. Officers using surveillance found Krynock inside the home, and when they tried to take him into custody, he opened a second-floor window and went out onto the roof to escape. Krynock was taken into custody without further incident and charges are pending.
• Officers responded to the area of Spring Garden Street for a motor vehicle crash on Jan. 25 about 10 p.m. The driver fled the scene, but was located a short time later and charges are pending.
• Officers arrested Jose Karnish of 212 W. Patterson St. on an open warrant for drug violation after observing him as a passenger in vehicle Jan. 9.
• Two people broke into a skill/game of chance machine at the Friendly Food Mart at 135 W. Patterson St. on Jan. 4, stealing more than $500 and causing about $10,000 in damage. Officers obtained an arrest warrant for Ashley Neff and Kyle Balkam, whose last known address was 3818 Mountain View Drive, Danielsville, Northampton County. Borough officers along with Lehigh Township police checked the address with negative results.
• Officers arrested Jennifer Stefanick Jan. 3 on an open warrant on drug-related charges out of Lancaster County.
