State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following:

• Harry F. Lee, 87, of Stroudsburg, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 9:07 p.m. Jan. 25 on Kroucher Road in Hamilton Township.

Police said he was driving a 2012 Land Rover west during a heavy rain and fog event when he under-compensated while navigating a curve in the road. The vehicle left the right side of the road and struck a tree before turning in a clockwise fashion and sliding into the westbound lane. It was towed from the scene.

Police said Lee refused a transport by personnel from the West End Ambulance.

• Sherry L. Dickerson, 56, of Palmerton, had suspected minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 12:39 p.m. Jan. 25 on Independence Road in Smithfield Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Bushkill Emergency Corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono, East Stroudsburg.

They said the crash occurred when she was driving a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta east and slowed in an attempt to turn into a property at 231 Independence Road. They said the Jetta was struck by a 2011Mitsubishi Galant driven by Stephen E. McDougle, 34, of East Stroudsburg, who was traveling directly behind the Jetta. Police said McDougle was uninjured.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Police said McDougle was cited for “following too closely.”

• Police were summoned to an assault case at 12:03 a.m. Jan. 27 at 207 Route 33 in Hamilton Township.

They said the assault stemmed from a road rage investigation.

Through the investigation, police said it was revealed the defendant, Christopher Weiss, approached the victim equipped with brass knuckles on his closed fists and punched the victim in the face armed with the weapon.

They said a co-defendant, identified as Arianna White, exited her vehicle during the altercation and began striking the victim in the head multiple times. The said the victim was able to gain physical control of both defendants and ultimately fled the scene and called 911 from a nearby location.

Police said all of the parties involved sustained visible physical injuries as a result of the altercation.
