Charles A. Rhoads of Lake Harmony was elected president of the Carbon County Tourist Promotion Agency during a dinner meeting held last night at the Split Rock Lodge.

Other officers elected are Luther Getz, Penn Forest Township, vice president; and Shirley Stermer, Jim Thorpe, secretary-treasurer.

Rhoads succeeds Jack Delhagen, Jim Thorpe, proprietor of the KOA campsite along the Lentz Trail in that borough.

Among the organizations affiliated with the agency are Split Rock Lodge, Pocono Hershey Resort, Howard Johnson Motor Lodge, Holiday Inn, Jim Thorpe Lions Club, Big Boulder, Jack Frost and Lehigh Gap ski areas and local chambers of commerce.
