The Schuylkill County Historical Society has announced the following upcoming events.

“Ten North Frederick”

“Ten North Frederick” by John O’Hara will be the subject of the Local Reads book club’s meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 (the anniversary of the author’s birth) at the Schuylkill County Historical Society, 305 N. Centre St., Pottsville.

Rex Roberts, who was the associate editor of the John O’Hara Journal, will discuss the novel.

History fair

The Schuylkill County Coalition of Historical Societies will hold its annual History Fair at the Fairlane Village Mall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 10.
