Lehighton Borough Police Department reported on the following incidents:

• Jose Garcia, 45, Lehighton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol (fourth offense in 10 years), driving while operating privileges are suspended and other related traffic offenses.

• Joseph Janko-Hudson, 45, Lehighton, was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct for an incident at 11:10 p.m. Dec. 23. Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Iron Street for an “out of control” person damaging a vehicle in the area belonging to the victim, a 38-year-old Lehighton resident. Officers arrived and located a vehicle with a pickax lodged into the roof of the vehicle. The damage was estimated at over $4,600.
