Jaden Coombe, 18, of New Ringgold, faces a number of charges after he sent threatening messages to an ex-girlfriend, police said.

Tamaqua police talked to the woman who said Coombe threatened her and her new boyfriend in text messages. Police said several messages contained threats of shooting the two with a gun.

Police said the woman obtained a temporary Protection from Abuse order on Jan. 9.

Officers told Coombe that he would be charged with terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.
