Flying squirrels at Thomas Darling Preserve, 9-11 a.m., Thomas Darling Preserve, PA-940 Entrance, Route 940, Pocono Lake. Wildlands Conservancy has flying squirrel nest boxes throughout the preserve; explore this unique habitat and check the nest boxes for flying squirrels. Hot cocoa afterward. Get Out! for Wellness: D&L Lehigh Tannery, 1-3 p.m., D&L Lehigh Tannery, 501 Main St. White Haven. In the 1860s the US’s second largest tannery operated in Lehigh Tannery. Pre-K Pathfinders: Mammalogy, Trexler Nature Preserve, 10-11 a.m., Trexler Environmental Center, 4935 Orchard Rd., Schnecksville. PreK pathfinders is a series of programs for 3-5 year olds and their grown-ups. Enjoy visits from our furry animal ambassadors to understand what makes a mammal unique, then venture outdoors to find evidence of their wild relatives.
