MONROE COUNTY INCIDENTS

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following:

• A couple from Saylorsburg was cited after police were called to a domestic disturbance at 11:20 p.m. Dec. 19 at 188 Lake Road, Hamilton Township.

Police said the 53-year-old woman and 52-year-old man engaged in the altercation while leaving Maggie’s Pub and the argument continued at their residence, ending up in both of them sustaining injuries when the fight turned physical.

• Police were called to a disabled vehicle report at 3:55 p.m. Jan. 6 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.

They learned a 2011 Chevrolet was involved in a crash, where the driver was unable to maintain the vehicle’s position in the line of travel and its driver’s side rear portion struck a barrier on the left shoulder of the road. Police said the car ended up having a flat tire that was changed with the assistance of family members and the vehicle was driven from the scene.

They said the driver of the vehicle denied emergency medical services.

No one was hurt in a three-vehicle crash at 5:11 p.m. Dec. 14 on Route 611 in Hamilton Township.

Police said it happened when a vehicle operated by Tammy H. Sipple, 32, of Saylorsburg, was northbound and failed to stop for slowed traffic, striking a second vehicle and pushing that vehicle into a third one.

Police said Sipple’s vehicle sustained heavy damages while the other two vehicles had mild damages.
