It’s time for Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania cookie season.

Girl Scouts will participate in the largest girl-run business in the world, selling favorites including Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Trefoils, and more.

In addition to selling in person, girls can expand their customer base through Digital Cookie, an online platform that helps girls take their business beyond the booth through personalized cookie sites.

Girls will hone their online business skills through the platform where they will email, accept and manage cookie orders, set goals, manage inventory, and more.

“We are so excited to kick off another cookie season, where girls have the opportunity to practice entrepreneurship while providing customers with a product everyone loves,” said Jessica Mislinski, Director of Product Program and Retail for Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania. “When you buy a box of cookies, you’re doing much more than purchasing a treat. You’re supporting a Girl Scout as she learns about running a business, hones leadership skills, and challenges herself to get outside her comfort zone. Plus, proceeds from the Cookie Program fund Girl Scout experiences and adventures throughout the year, including educational field trips, international travel, and community service projects.”

Girl Scout in the Heart of Pennsylvania cookie season is recognized in a 30-county footprint from Jan. 11 through April 14. Consumers can support Girl Scouts by purchasing cookies in a few different ways:

• Contact a registered Girl Scout and help support her business.

• Beginning March 8, find a cookie booth near you by entering your Zip code into the Girl Scout Cookie Finder. You can purchase Girl Scout cookies in-person from local Girl Scouts.

• Contact Member Services at MemberServices@gshpa.org or call 717-233-1656 to be connected with a Girl Scout near you.
