A man died in a single vehicle crash Sunday night in West Penn Township.

The crash happened just after 8 p.m. when the driver was heading west on Route 895, and just before the intersection with Troxell Valley Road lost control.

The vehicle crossed over the eastbound berm, rolling over several times before coming to rest on its roof.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by a Schuylkill County deputy coroner.

West Penn Fire Company and medic units responded. West Penn fire police shut down the road, and township police are investigating.
