Carbon County Friends of Animals will hold a fundraiser with Radical Wine Company, Lehighton in memory of Rose Marek.

Marek, who passed away in November, is the sister of CCFOA board member Kimmy Mulik.

“She always helped me prepare for the fundraiser events behind the scenes and she and her husband Mark always made the large lottery boards for our events,” Mulik wrote about the fundraiser.

The event will take place at the wine company at 511 Mahoning Drive East, Lehighton, from noon to 4 p.m. on April 14.

Music will be supplied by DJ Star TracksMusic Tracks and raffles and food will be available for purchase.

Bring any of the following items to be entered to win a door prize: laundry detergent, cleaning supplies (bleach, etc.), Lysol spray, paper towels, canned cat food.

Mulik said that this fundraiser is identical to the group’s August event.

If you would like to donate an item for the Chinese auction at this event, all items should be taken to the shelter no later than March 1, 2024. All donations are appreciated.

CCFOA is a nonprofit organization and all proceeds support the care of animals in need in the county.
