The chorale has two more concerts for its 39th season.
The first one is at 4 p.m. Palm Sunday, March 24 at St. John’s Lutheran in the Heights, South Ave, Jim Thorpe. This concert will feature The Passion of the Christ, also known as Brockes passion, by George Frederic Handel.
The second one is at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 18, St. Joseph Catholic Church, North St., Jim Thorpe. This concert will feature a variety of classical choral works, and will include an orchestra.
“We are the only choral group that sings this kind of music and has their own professional orchestra,” Maestro Randall D. Perry, director of the chorale, said. “Our members come from all walks of life and all ages, sharing their love of the music of these masters and the joy of singing choral music accompanied by professional orchestra members. Our concerts are filled with wonderful music that is enjoyed by our chorale members as well as our supportive and dedicated audience members.”
