The Woman’s Club of Slatington announces that Northern Lehigh High School senior Susan Gilsbach of Emerald has been chosen as its Girl of the Month for November.

Gilsbach is the daughter of Erin and Tim Gilsbach. She has two sisters, Colleen and Anne. Her activities include secretary of the Theater Club, Debate Team president, newspaper editor-in-chief, Art Club, Student Council, and National Honor Society.

Gilsbach applied for and was accepted as a member of the DeSales University scholars program and the Lehigh University scholars program.

She enjoys singing, crocheting, art, and playing games with her younger sisters.

Her future plans include attending a four-year university and then pursuing her MBA and law school to obtain a degree in business law.
